Discrete Access for Patients

Our elegant and modern facilities are located 6 miles south of Miami International Airport in the ‘Merrick Pointe’ building on Bird Road and SW 38th Court, very close to the Village of Merrick Park shopping mall. Designated patient parking is conveniently reserved in the parking garage on the same floor as our office, avoiding any need for elevators.

Private Nursing Care

Our private duty nurses provide the ultimate in personalized care and attention, starting in the recovery room after surgery and remaining full time with a patient, as long as desired. They also provide transportation between the surgery center, the hotel and our office. A car service can also be arranged, if preferred.

Phone Consultations

Before planning your trip to Miami, an optional pre-consultation is available per telephone or e-mail. If photographs of areas of concern to a patient are available, these can be reviewed by Dr. Baker in advance so that a preliminary plan can be formulated.

We work with hotels close to our office, such as the Coconut Grove Ritz-Carlton Hotel and others, at preferred rates.

Art Deco Historic District: The Miami Art Deco District in South Beach is home to the largest number of art deco buildings in the world. It was also once the home of Italian designer Gianni Versace.
Miami Design District: The Miami Design District is a neighborhood dedicated to innovative fashion, design, architecture and dining experiences. From Michelin-starred Cote and L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon to hometown darling Itamae, some of the best meals in Miami are within walking distance.
Miracle Mile: The Miracle Mile is the main street that runs through downtown Coral Gables. It is home to many popular stores and other businesses.
The Beaches: Miami is a city of beaches, including South Beach, North Beach, and Surfside. Due to Florida’s warm and sunny weather, the city’s beaches remain a popular destination all year.
Vizcaya Museum & Gardens: Once the winter home of businessman and socialite James Deering, the Vizcaya Museum is a villa with a 10-acre garden.
Venetian Pool: The Venetian Pool first opened in the 1920s and was dug out of a rock quarry. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in the early 1980s and remains the only swimming pool on the register. It remains open to the public for swimming.
Wynwood: Wynwood is home to art galleries, retail stores, antique shops, eclectic bars, artisanal eateries and open-air street-art installations. The famous Wynwood Walls is as an outdoor art museum saturated with bright, eclectic street art and whimsical graffiti.
